The Military Cooperation Program includes training at the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Center and the Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Center, participation in joint training, exchanges of trainers and visits of respective military delegations.

The 2019 Military Cooperation Program was signed in Athens by the Director of International Relations at the General Staff of the Greek Armed Forces, Michael Naoum and Defense Policy Director at the Ministry of Defense of Albania, Florian Kali.


During the meeting, other areas of common interest were discussed as part of strengthening the existing defense cooperation, while on 1st July 2019, Albania will receive the Presidency of the South – Eastern Europe Defense Ministerial (SEDM).
